At the municipal council meeting on 4 July 2017, the municipal council approved the 2017 Planning Strategy, deciding to revise the 2014-2026 Town Plan for Qaasuitsup as a sub-revision that will specifically deal with the priority areas: infrastructure including traffic and airport, business development as well as recreational areas and urban spaces. In addition, the town plan in force will be updated to reflect adopted town plan addendums.
